In supervising the processing of personal data within the Schengen area, the Office for Personal Data Protection cooperates with the national Supervisory Authorities of other member states and with the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS).

Currently, the cooperation is carried out within the following groups:

Coordinated Supervision Committee (CSC)

The current EU information systems, bodies and agencies falling within the scope of the CSC are Schengen Information System (SIS), Internal Market Information System (IMI), European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust), European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) and European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol).
